The AIP printing works contacted us because they wanted to renovate their online store. The challenge they faced was that their technology did not allow for innovative and modernized options of online sales.

Visitors did not have a comprehensive overview of the offer, information about each offer had to be entered at several instances, which made it difficult to update and search by offer. As a result, the information on the website was unreliable and inconsistent.

What we created

After discussing and analyzing the client’s needs and wishes, we also determined the project roadmap together with them.

The main purpose of the upgrade was the transition from an outdated technology to a new one, content that is easier to navigate and the simplification of the online payment process in the print shop’s online store. A key part of the plan was the implementation of a modern design and the construction of advanced logic that allows customers to quickly calculate the price based on the choice of print, its size, materials and print properties.

Results

The result of the collaboration was a modern, bilingual online store adapted for small screens with an advanced and intuitive user experience, which enables the user to search the print shop’s offer faster and easier. The used framework allows the printer to easily edit the content of the online store.

Increasing customer trust, easier product search and better overview of orders

The online store features a “shipment tracking” function, which increases trust of the online store’s customers, as it enables them to check the status of their order. Because the company sells a lot of labels, we also decided to integrate a search engine. It enables users interested in purchasing labels to simply search by the width and height of their desired labels, which promotes the purchase conversion rate. We also implemented a “QR code” function, which allows production to view order data and thus obtain information about orders faster and easier.

Reduced costs and offer preparation time

A script implemented in the online store enables the correct and automatic calculation of product prices. This would otherwise be a complex process as several parameters need to be taken into account. This increased the speed of processing customers and the speed of ordering products, while at the same time reducing the need for administrative work and preparation of offers.

Several payment types

The print shop’s customers are able to pay with three types of payment—by pre-invoice, by cash on delivery and by payment card. This enables the customers to easily pay for the service or product they need at a given moment and the option to choose their preferred type of payment, thereby increasing the purchase conversion rate.
